Ruthie has been working with Trudy since April 2007. Trudy is a seven year
old spayed female. Trudy has hunted with my husband, good marker with
lots of drive. When Ruthie started working with Trudy, she had never
trained or ran a dog before. In the spring we traveled to Salt Lake City for
Ruthie and Trudy's first hunt test debut. They received their first Senior
pass with flying colors. In September 2007, Ruthie and Trudy tried running
their first field trial at the Idaho Retriever Club. We are very proud to
announce they received a fourth place in the Qualifying. Ruthie has learned
very quickly. She has become a very accomplished handler. Besides the
interest in the dogs, Ruthie is a senior at Adrain High School with a 3.7
grade point average, plays the flute and oboe in the school band, member of
Future Farmers of America and had the leading role in the school play.
